BABY NEWS!

Oh my Lord I am so excited!

My best friend is having a BABY! She found out on Thursday, and told me yesterday. I am so excited for them I can't stand it! She is due the first week in June....seriously, can't wait until then!

I have been eying up a collection of green baby stuff at Target for about 3 or 4 months now...now I can buy it! Whoo!

Praying for a safe and healthy pregnancy!

I Love Presents :-)

-He got me some little gifts for Sweetest Day...
-He was going to get me my flowers I like from Wal-Mart because they last FOREVER...
-But I said, "No, thats ok. You don't have to since I have to go back to school tomorrow."
-And then him picking up this CD for me when we were at Wal-Mart tonight because he remembered I wanted it...
-And then he picked out that cute little frame when we were at Kohls...it fits us so perfectly...but it's funny because it's such an odd little quote on there...how many people have relationships where they don't see their g/f all that often...lol, besides us?
-(Ok, I see him 4 out of 7 days of the week usually, but still, its hard when I am away at school)
-So these were my cute little presents he got me...
-I love them!

Oh My GOODness...

FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY ....

I am FINALLY ONLINE in my OWN ROOM at my APARTMENT. Oh, only took half of the semester, but I can FINALLY LOG ON not in the library, not in my roommates' rooms, not in the living room, not in the kitchen, but FINALLY in my OWN ROOM.

Purchase a wireless card. Take 4 weeks to realize the dang card isn't going to work with your laptop no matter WHAT ON EARTH you try, take that thing back and get a new one. That didn't work either. So take that back. Buy a 50 foot ethernet cord. That was too short.

So finally, the wonderful mixture: Take a 50 foot ethernet cord + a coupler + a 14 foot ethernet cord + 4 unhappy roommates bc there is a cord running through the house + 1 other roommate who doesn't care if they are mad bc they have had internet in their own rooms for the whole semester now = a happy Kayla.

I can shut the door and there will be no distractions!

It *WAS* Fall ...

This lake and woods area (has a ton of trails and stuff) is a block away from my apartment. Sometimes it's hard to believe something so pretty is literally right outside my front door.

These were taken on Tuesday afternoon between my classes. This is where I sometimes go walking and running ... now it's just too cold to go there. I bet the lake has a bit of ice on the top now... just 3 days later! Brrr!

But, it was gorgeous, don't you think?

For Some Strange Reason...

I am the Christmas Spirit...well, the Martha Stewart version anyway. I am dreaming of December when I can post my own creations of the delicious items above...Christmas Shopping for gifts, listening to CD's, wrapping presents, making cutesy cards to send out, decorating a mini tree for my apartment, and taking LOTS of pictures...
