Fourth of July Weekend ... And Week!
Let the *fireworks* sparkle!

Then it started to DOWNPOUR! Like seriously pour! So we went inside the Capitol for awhile and I took some pics inside there. Here's one ... I think its so neat bc State Street is the cool, funky, downtown place in Madison. (I think so anyways). And State Street is one of the streets that stems from Capitol Square. I think there are 5 streets that stem from the square. It's pretty cool.
I did have fun with my dad yesterday though. We never hang out like that, so it was weird, but still really nice.
We went and had lunch at the yummy "State Street Brats" bar/pub thingy while the rain settled down. I had the best red brat ever! Then after that we headed back to the farmer's market and got some bread, cheese curds, and flavored popcorn, and a really delish huge chocolate chip and toffee cookie for me. Ha.
Here's a pic I took outside of the parking ramp ... I wish I could've gotten more pics but obviously, my nice camera + rain = not a good situation. It was torture to be all inspired and to "see" things to photograph, but I couldn't. I'm going to have to go back on a nicer day.
And just a fun one from the other when I was baking.
