Me playing around last night in the bathroom - self portraits are always fun :-)

Now that our *snow* has turned to *rain* my mom decided it would be fun to buy the puppy a raincoat from Target's Dollar Spot ... it was 75% percent off .... the 25 cents was *totally* worth this picture!

And here is what keeps me from losing weight ... homemade iced mochas! In case you're wondering, I put 5-6 ice cubes in a blender with about a cup of skim milk, squirt in some chocolate syrup, a bit of creamer, and then dump in a bit of instant coffee...*blend* til smooth ....and top with whip cream. Not *too* bad calorie wise...but still, probably not needed! ;-)

{ Our Easter }

And my Easter story went like this:

You boil the eggs...

You make the sugar cut out cookie dough....

You bake the cookies...my rabbits got bit plump...

You dye the eggs...
You let the eggs dry....

You frost the fat rabbits an awesome 80's rocker blazin' purple...and get sick of it...so you just give them a spritz over with frosting instead...

You fast forward to the next day ... which really isn't Easter ... my family has this thing with celebrating holidays a day early, wth?... anyway .... here are the sweets ....

Seriously Snow Gods,
Please come take the winter away! Not funny anymore! I feel like I am trapped inside of a snowglobe! And to all of you southern people who wish for snow ... I bet you don't wish for shoveling 12 inches one day and waking up to even MORE snow... at the end of MARCH!

Take a normally happy and fluffed up and cute little white dog (above) and this is what happens when she goes outside now! Our Lexie Lou Belle looks a bit frozen over and sad! (Or pissed off...you pick!)

Oh, and look what it decided to do again last night!

I am so excited for these!

I have been looking *everywhere* for a carousel like this forever ... antique stores, ebay, you name it. I want them for my future studio ... I will get mounted 4x6s of my favorite client images and display them on here.

Then this evening, I was going thru my stack of magazines and throwing them away, and I gave a Christmas Pottery Barn catalog a thumb-thru because I am in love with the inspiration I get from that place...and low and behold...what did I find?

Ahhh yes...I did find these, and was sad at the same time because I figured they'd be gone as they were in the Christmas edition ... so I go online anyway, and *oh baby* they're on clearance. How excellent.

Ended up getting them for $60 and $80 .. shipping was only $20, which I was surprised by ...

So how awesome. I cannot WAIT!

She asked me today if I would be her maid of honor because she would not want anyone else! How special + exciting!

They're paying me by flying me into Salt Lake City the weekend of May 1st to shoot their engagement photos. Can't wait for that either!

Also, more exciting news....I am planning a trip to New Zealand in January 2009 to visit Michele! (That is, if she'll still have me for a visit! *wink*) Michele: I was looking through my grandma's photo albums from her trip to NZ in 1994....beautiful!

Lot of exciting....exciting....EXCITING events in the near future!

I haven't posted much lately now have I!?

I don't really like posting without a photo, and I have been slacking on that duty as well! Spring break is next week; can't believe this semester is already 1/2 over....it hasn't been stressful at all. I know, odd, and now I better *knock on wood.*

Thursday after work at 6 pm I'm officially "FREE!" until the next week Monday -- 10 days with no obligations! And I am super pumped because my friend Alanna from UTAH will be coming to Wisconsin for the weekend! I'm doing some lover shots with her and her beau. This should be fun, fun, fun!
